Which Web browser ?

On computers running Windows, there are three main choices these days: Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Mozilla’s Firefox and Norway’s Opera.

Firefox 3 has finally been released, (amidst a lot of fan-fare), and it’s been well-worth the wait! One professional reviewer described it as nothing short of “sizzling”.

The program comes in at 7.8MB which is a rather small download. It installed on our computer incredibly fast. We haven’t had any problems with it so far. It seems to do most things faster than earlier versions and certainly leaves Internet Explorer dead in the water!

Firefox 3 is the browser many of us have been wishing for. It’s set new standards for a web browser including security, usability and performance. Three years in the making, 8 months of beta-testing… a great achievement for Mozilla. Highly recommended.
