    I love your site - both the design and the poetry. Particularly loved ‘5 Dollars’ - it’s so ascerbic, with a big dose of gallows humour, in such a few words.

    Hope things are going well and look forward to reading more on here (I really need to learn Indonesian though i think!)

    Ho-ho-ho…Christmas is coming early this year.
    You already left your email address - a condition to ‘comment’ on anything here (even a fake one - “hint”). When you run your own blog, you usually have the ability to ‘edit’ what people write.
    For more technical information regarding blog-shit, I refer you to one “Bob Diylan2″. Quote/Unquote: Kapeesh?
    Do you still like vodka martinis?
    A very close friend of mine had a look at your blog and found a few things that weren’t working. The photos are there - impressive (especially for a surfer), but the ‘archive link’ is empty. Maybe next week.
    “Boofhead” here didn’t make it to a TK. In western Java, the people were very astute years ago. Figured a way to jump over the “Kindergarden Diploma” scenario. Some even went from primary school straight to….Harvard no problem

    I have tried to read some of the stuff you have posted but have not got a clue about Indonesian. Gayle pointed me in the right direction as to where to read it in English, but in true Dasha style i got lost on the site again. Have to log in again when the shiraz is not flowing so well and have another try.

    Tell me: can I make contibutions to the site with pics darl? I’ve got a slew of pics of you and the Bob Dilan from January looking very bright eyed and bushy tailed in downtown Sanur <em>ala</em> Hyatt style, sipping beers and wine as the little animals played on the green green grass of hometown Sanur.

    Gimme a clue.

    Please look on the right-hand size of the page (the “side-bar”), and you’ll see a section called &lCATEGORIES. There is a link there called trong English. There are some English versions of my stuff there.

    You can place comments anywhere, really. At the moment, you’re putting yours in the link that is supposed to be About Me

    Regarding your photos. Yes, I can put some of them here. (Even make a separate category, just for you.) Send them normally by email.

    What I could read in English I really enjoyed and was very moved by your poem Unfinished Song, I’d love to keep chatting with you. I find different countries and cultures very inspiring.

    am missing you and Phil. Warren is in Bali at the moment with 1 of our staff, his son and a few friends. Hopefully he will get to Sanur to see you. I heard from him today and he was at Padang Padang. Told me there were a couple of local ladies he recognised so he went up and started explaining who he was and straight away one of them pulled out a photo of our youngest son when he was only about 10. He is now 20. Warren was blown away that they still had this photo after all these years. Just another reminder as to why Indonesia and the people are very dear to our hearts. What have you been up to lately and how is Redi? Love Gayle

    How are you both? Sorry I haven’t been in touch been busy as usual.

    James from Jakarta will be arriving here in the morning. He is coming out to work with our IT people, Dasha is very excited! Will be great to see him again and have him in our hometown to spoil.

    Wazza and his mates were slack and didn’t get to your place but had a great time anyway as all young boys do. They went on a boat trip for seven days and had a ball. Lots of surf, beer and good food (weather wasn’t bad either)

    What have you been up to?

    And what has Hellboy been eating lately?

    Hellboy is his usual self - eating all our pillows now.
